Rain, rain, rain - it finally arrived shortly after six after being in the area most of the day. It did not stop the rest of the Tuesday Men from completing their rounds. The light rain stayed around for most of two hours. During the rainy period, James Hager went out and shot his low of the year, a 33, which included two birdies and also turned out to be the low gross for the day. Terry Butcher had a 34, Mark Potts a 35 and another six golfers, Mike Bird, Travis Brett, Alan Burch, Jordan Divine, Derek Gilbertson and Short Jeffers, each had 36's. Jordan Divine's 36 netted out at 30 and that gave him a share of the low net with Tom Flynn. Travis Brett, John Drake and Lee Wininger had net 31 rounds. Low team score was turned in by Karry Stoll and Lee Wininger with a 63; Mitch Jeffers and Jordan Divine along with Jon Boyd and Tom Flynn fired 64's. Hole prizes were claimed by TJ McAtee, Derek Gilbertson and Short Jeffers with close to the pin shots while Tony Wease, Jon Boyd and Ryan Johnson sank long putts. Group average for the day was 41.86, down almost half a stroke from the previous week and the low for the season so far. At the top of the standings following event 10 play: Curt Johnson and Tyler Walton in team competition supplanted John Walker and Skip Ackerman with a total of 409 points to 401 points. John Drake, at 773 points, replaced Tom Walker at the top in the individual competition. Tom slipped to second with 766 points. Skip Ackerman at 747 and Jake Divine at 737 are in the third and fourth positions.
In the final nine holes of the Individual Handicapped Tournament, Gary LaMar shot a minus 2 on the day while Tom Walker shot a plus 2 in his round. The four stroke difference made LaMar a winner by one stroke with a 36 hole total of minus 13. Walker had to settle for second with a minus 12. John Drake, with a final day net of four under par, moved up to third place at minus 11. Mike Arvin, Terry Butcher and Mitch Jeffers each finished at minus 10 for a share of fourth place.
