Tom Walker capped off his best ever nine hole round of 38 with a birdie at #9. His net score of 29 earned him 120 points for his day's work and vaulted him into first place in the Individual competition in the Tuesday Men's League. His 643 points leads Jake Divine by 12 points and Brandon Inman by 27. Low net score for the day was earned by Curt Johnson whose own 38 gave him a net of 24. Curt has a new driver which is giving him an additional 25-35 yards off the tee, a fact no doubt helping him go much lower in his game. Low gross honors go to Short Jeffers and Mark Potts who both shot 33's. Curt and Tyler Walton's net 59 for team net nipped Chad Wade and Travis Brett's 60. Travis, filling in for Don Nolan, had a very good round of his own, shooting a 35 gross and a net 27. Charlie Lyon led the hole prize winners with close to the pin shots at both #7 and #9; Kent Summers got the third par 3 prize at #3. Nick Wininger, Tom McAtee and James Hager sank long putts to claim additional hole prizes. John Walker and Skip Ackerman, with a net 69 and 28 points for their day's work, remain on top of the Team competition. Jake Divine and Brandon Inman are three back with TJ McAtee and Alan Burch seventeen back. After 18 holes in the 36 hole Individual Handicapped Tournament, Tom Walker's ten under par tops the scoreboard. Phil Eyler is two back while Noah Callahan and Mitch Jeffers are three back. Average gross score for the group fell another half stroke, coming in at 41.97 for the day.
