Rob Graber and Clint Knepp posted a net 33 in Best Ball, the third and final game of the September Challenge. That gave them a final score of 91.33, 13.67 strokes under par, and a scant one third stroke better than the team of Billy Trabant and Duane Wagler, who, for the second year in row, found themselves finishing in second place. Third place was claimed by Colin Padgett and his dad Terry with a score of 93.67. Jack Butcher and Rex Hudson finished fourth with a score of 94.33. Graber and Knepp also won the prize for low score in the Alternate Shot game, a nifty 29.67. Trabant and Wagler claimed the prizes for low scores in the Scramble (26.33) and Best Ball (27.00) games. Twenty-two teams participated in this year's season ending challenge for Lakeview League players. Complete listing of the scores can be found at golflakeview.com in the Mixed League Event section.
