Bits and Pieces

-Thursday Leaguers have the chance to sign up and play in the September Scramble at 9 this morning.  Several are already on the roster and coming out to play.  No partner yet?  Call the clubhouse and let us know, maybe even show up today at 8:30.

-The September Challenge has 23 teams signed up - still growing!

-Two pick-up 2 person scrambles last night at Lakeview:  Tracy Rayhill and Bric Parker took Curt Johnson and Tony Trambaugh to the cleaners winning by four; and Randy Graber and I beat up on Duane Wagler and Billy Trabant but just by a little bit: two strokes with one of them coming as darkness fell all around us.

-Weather:  They have changed the forecast in the last hour from thunderstorms today to partly cloudy with a high of 84.  Sounds and looks about right and should make for a very pleasant day at the golf course.  We like that.  Yes, I know we desperately need the rain.  How about tonight?
