League Grand Poobahs for the 2010 Season

The Lakeview League's Grand Poobah awards for this year go to the following:

Tuesday Men's League:

Team: Mike Albertson and Mark Jones won on the strength of their Team Match Play victory and their 8th place finish in the Team standings.  Mark Sherer and Mike Bird came in second with their win in the Team Tournament and their 3rd place finish in the Match Play Tournament.

Individual: Bric Parker wins the award with his 2nd place finish in the standings and his fourth place finish in the Individual Handicapped Tournament.  Mike Seals and Charlie Sheetz tied for second.

Thursday Match Play League:

This was an easy one:  Jim and Wilma Bateman in the Team competition and Jim Bateman in the Individual competition.  As a team, they won the Mid-Season Scramble and finished at the top of the regular season standings.  Frank and Susan Fee came in second.  For the Individual Grand Poobah award, Jim finished at the top of the regular season standings, shared a 1st in the Flighted Tournament and placed second in the Individual Handicapped Tournament.  Mike Bird finished second on the strength of his 2nd place finish in the regular season and his first place tie in the flighted tournament.
