Bits and Pieces

-Several members of the Thursday Match Play League will be out this morning at 9am to finish up their September Challenge.

-Gotta love the fact that Furyk won big with a $39 used putter.  Don't expect there will be any great rush by those with money to downsize their choice of golfing or sporting equipment.

-Did you catch Ken Burns' 10th Inning on PBS these last two nights?  If you're a baseball fan, you will probably want to catch it at some point.  Even if you're not a baseball fan. 

-Heading out - got a golf date at nine with Jack Lents - see if we can match some of those good scores posted in the Challenge last night.  Actually, I'm looking for a magical net 23 - haven't told Jack yet - he'll have to be getting a bunch of birdies.  I'll be looking for eagles (they are around!) and aces.
