-Golfers will be happy to hear the the bugs were absent from the golf course yesterday, and I expect today as well. Sunday's misty drizzle and low temperatures proved too much for the little nasties. Unfortunately, those conditions also kept golfers from getting out as well.
-On the Big Boys Tour yesterday, David Toms is probably kicking himself today for two things: the decision to go for the green with his second shot on the 16th hole, which he dumped in the water, and then the missed short putt on the first extra hole that gave the Players Championship to KJ Choi. Pretty neat having two of the three guys in the final group duking it out for the victory.
-Tiger, Tiger, where art thou. He sure is mastering the art of not being around. And have you noticed that Phil Mickelson, the big lefty, has kinda disappeared as well? Not as thoroughly as TW, but definitely gone from the highlight reels. The changing face of golf.
-LPGA is back on the course this week at the Sybase Match Play Championship in Gladstone, NJ. Final field is here; guess they haven't announced the pairings yet though expect it's done by Rolex ranking. Nope. Here's how they do it:
-Breakfast time. Diane was off to Walmart early and then I think up to the Donut Barn to bake. Could be wrong there. She left before I had rolled out of bed.
-Tip for the day: Put another log on the fire. Just kidding. Go out and play golf like it was March 1st except play with your May 16th rust free golf swing.

The draw for the Sybase Match Play Championship will once again follow a unique format. The 64 players in the field will be given a number from 1-64 based on their Rolex Rankings. The top-32 players will be automatically seeded into the brackets. Their opponents will be determined through a blind draw.Okay. Lets get on with the blind draw then.
