With the finish of yesterday's play, the Thursday League got caught up with events 2 and 3 in the books after several changes and delays and postponements brought on by the wet area weather. Sitting pretty at the top of the standings after three weeks of play is the team of Patty Bowling and Pam Byron. Patty also leads the individual standings as she has started the year with three rounds well under her handicap. Frank Fee and John Chapman have also done well and find themselves in second and third place in the standings. Low scores for event 2 were shot by Patty Bowling with a 28 for low net; Frank Fee's 37 was the low gross. Patty and Pam Byron had the low net team score, a 66. For event 3, Lee Wininger tied Patty at three under for the low net while Mike Bird's 38 was the low gross. Low team score of 69 was turned in by Lee Wininger and Chuck Baker. Hole prizes for event three were claimed by John Chapman and Al Kavanaugh on the par 3's and by Dick Barber on the longest putt of the day.
The May Team Handicapped Tournament, a four week, thirty-six hole game, got underway with event 3 with Chuck Baker and Lee Wininger's one under score leading the pack. Tony Wease and Phil Hardwick, filling in for Charlie Sheetz, are in second place with an even par score while Patty Bowling and Pam Byron are in third with a score of plus one.
