In Men's League action last Tuesday, Mark Potts shot a round of 34 to claim low gross honors. His round included four birdies, one more than Mark Jeffers in his round of 35. James Hager and Dave Wininger also had rounds of 35. Low net honors went to Lonnie Hawkins with a score of 29. Tom Flynn and Derek Gilbertson had net 30 rounds. Low team score was posted by Lonnie and his partner, Dan Jones, a nifty 10 under par 60. Larry Sutton claimed two hole prizes, one at #3 with a close to the pin shot, and the other at #6 with a long putt. Lonnie Hawkins, Terry Padgett, Mark Potts and Derek Gilbertson also claimed hole prizes. The team of John Walker and Skip Ackerman topped the standings in team competition at the end of the day. At 240 points, they hold a 15 point lead over Jake Divine and Brandon Inman and a 20 point lead over Jordon Divine and Mitch Jeffers. Jordan Divine, with 475 points, leads the individual standings by 30 points. Skip Ackerman is second while Jake Divine, Dan Jones and Brandon Inman round out the top five.
The league's team tournament is at the three quarter mark with Skip Ackerman and John Walker in the lead with a score of eight under par. Two back and tied for second place are the teams of Mike Breeden and Bryant Trambaugh and TJ McAtee and Alan Burch.
