Looks like we get to play a league event without a weather restriction. We did delay it an hour, from the original 9am start to a 10am start, but that is minor considering what we have had to face the last two weeks. The event also marks the opening of the tournament season: 1st nine holes of the thirty-six hole team handicapped tournament.
Yesterday many of the Thursday Leaguers were out making up their event 2 round. Saw a bunch of high scores, including my own, but did notice some good ones as well. Frank Fee's second straight 37 and Pam Byron's 48, each a net 6 under par, were impressive. The rest of the crew finish up their event 2 rounds after today's event 3. Looks like a beautiful May day to play a little golf.
