Short Jeffers, Joe Allen and Kevin Byron muffed thier initial tee shot, bogyed the first hole but then shot five under over the last eight holes to win the Saturday Morning Scramble. The trio, posting a score of 31, took turns hitting good shots and ended up birdieing four of the last five holes after finding a bird at #2 to offset the plus one score at #1. Four other teams competed for the prize with Kevin Johnson joining dad Curt to post a score of 32 for second place. Doug Denson and Wayne Souerdike shot a 33 while Mike Bird and Stan Graber along with Trenton Kidwell and Tracy Rayhill shot 34's. Brothers Dave and Lee Wininger finished with an even par 35. Of note: Stan Graber had a solo eagle at #4 with a 285 yard drive, an approach to seven foot of the pin and then the eagle putt.
