-Susan Fee had a very good round of 38 yesterday in Thursday Match League play. But she had an even better round the day before when she got her first ever par round at Lakeview (maybe anywhere!).
-Dane Mosby is picking up hole prizes left and right. His two yesterday, at #7 and #8 makes it three for the year already.
-Junior Byron and Susan Fee continue their hot start to the season, Junior with a 35 that followed two 36's, Susan with the aforementioned 38 that follows two 40's.
-Four subs played yesterday (and we needed two more!): Paul Weisheit, Mike Muessig, Dave Strange and Denny Wagoner. Three of them shot under net 35. (Thanks for coming out, guys.)
-Charlie Sheetz had a net 30 yesterday - the best, and a net 32 last week, second best. The guy is on a roll.
-Jack Lents picked up a bunch of skins from me when he shot a net 36 and I finished with five straight bogeys and six out of the last seven holes. Yuk on my golf game for the week - opened Tuesday League play with a double and three bogeys through five holes. Got to be a little more consistency out there for me somewhere.
-League gross average is almost four strokes better than last year. You think the ground conditions and the really nice weather make a difference?!
