It's week 2 of the Team Handicapped Tournament with Jon Boyd and Paul Hart the leaders at -5 after 9 holes. Terry Butcher and Rob Sterling are in second one stroke back with two teams tied for third at -1, Jordan Divine and Mitch Jeffers along with James Hager and Ryan Johnson.
In regular season standings, Noah Callahan has gotten off to a fast start and sits at the top fifty some points up on second place Terry Butcher (the only player to get a par or better last week with a 35) and 70 some points up on third place Scott Arthur. Noah and his partner Mark Potts (and his subs for the last two weeks) have a slim three point lead at 131 points over Mike Arvin and Scott Arthur and a six point lead over Tom McAtee and John Drake.
Course Condition: The rains of the last five days have really helped in getting the grass growing again and also greening it up. Still the fairways run as if it was mid-season and the greens are near perfect with the aeration and the excellent weather that we've had (help keep them in top condition by fixing a ball mark or two - left unfixed for any amount of time, they turn to little brown spots on the surface).
Weather today: Partly sunny with temperatures in the 70's, wind NW at 14 mph.
A year ago: Low scores for the fourth event (rest in peace, Bric):
