We start again at nine today (and for the rest of the season). Weather looks scrumptious and the course is in tip top shape. The leaders of the pack, the Fees on one hand and Ken Hudson and Junior Byron on the other, go out against new opponents today after again dispatching the ones they faced last week (Lents and Bird, and Harper and LaMar respectively). Frank and Susan take on the Home and Home team (play the course if no subs available) while Ken and Junior try and stare down Dick Lemmon and Dave Brown. Dave Strange is coming out to represent the Elliott/Gray team - received an email from Bob saying their departure from Florida has been delayed for medical reasons. Junior and Susan are sitting one and two in the individual standings after opening the season with three very good rounds. Each sports an impressive early season handicap - Junior has his down to one already while Susan has a four handicap, a number that means she is averaging under forty on her rounds. Think that's a first for Lakeview among our women golfers. Impressive indeed.
So, pack up your clubs and your A game and come on down to the green place just a bit north of Loogootee. Lets see if we can get a few of those birdies left on the course by the Tuesday Men. Hey, why not a hole-in-one as well.
