-We start at 9 this morning, it being May, and will continue at nine for the rest of the season.
-Still need two subs for this morning's match play. Dave Strange and Paul Weisheit are coming in for two of the spots.
-Expect golfers today will fare better than the ones on Tuesday - think a pop-up shower hit just about every player out there from the early birds (Virgil, Gary, Terry and me with a little downpour around 11:30) to the last guy standing (Mike Arvin around 8:30). In between the showers, things looked grand with sunshine and for the most part a clear radar. We do have high temperatures today so go get yourself a glass of water or two right now and hydrate.
-Team leaders are Ken Hudson and Junior Byron for one and Frank and Susan Fee for the other. They go up against a couple of teams at the bottom and near the bottom of the standings: Terry LaMar and Gary Virgil Harper (at the bottom) face Hudson and Byron, Jack Lents and Mike Bird (me) (third from the bottom) go up against the Fees. On paper, advantage to the leaders. But...
-Steady Eddies: Junior Byron with two 36's and Frank Fee with two 37's over the first two weeks have led the low gross category. Susan Fee with two 40's joins them in the Steady Eddie club and is the low woman in gross scoring. Impressive.
-See a bunch of you in a bit.
