A little history:
Ten years ago in the Tuesday League, Ken Wagler, Charlie Sims, Roger Cole and Jerry Tredway were shooting 34's, 37's and 38's to lead a group of golfers that also included Jack Cook, Scott Hickman, Mark Taylor, Eugene Wilcoxen, Nelson Stoll and Ed David. Lloyd Mosby was also playing and shot a 50 which I don't imagine he was any too happy about. There was also a Wednesday League back then, one where both Eric and I played - we shot a 38 and a 36 for the day. Bob Panko and Bob Gilley also played on Wednesdays.
Back to the present: Looks like we will be having a break from the heat. Course is very green and in great shape. So, load up your clubs and your A game and come on down and play a little golf. The two and three handicappers should be shooting near par today; the seven and eight handicappers should be coming in under forty. Remember: fairways, greens, and make a putt every now and then.
