Tuesday Men: Time to Shine

It's going to be a lovely day - actually, already is with a get up and greet the day temperature of 55 degrees. Nice. Unexpected. Take advantage of it and play two! (Ernie Banks, remember?)

A little history lesson: Ten years ago in Tuesday League, Lloyd Mosby was partnered with Eugene Wilcoxen - Lloyd shot a 49 and Eugene a 45. Other playing combinations included Ed David and Paul Truelove, Jack Cook and Mark Taylor, Ken Wagler with Clint Knepp, Randy Wagler with Nelson Stoll, Jerry Tredway and Roger Cole.

Back to the present: Only five eagles so far this season in the Tuesday Men's League - Ackerman, Muessig, Ryan Johnson, Hager and Mike Kidwell. Should increase with the warmer and drier conditions and as players finally round into mid season form. Still only one hole-in-one at Lakeview and not from a Tuesday Man - Jack Butcher got his first way back on April 24th; somebody told me that Country Oaks is having a rash of aces this year. I would say it's about time we got ourselves one or two more. Any volunteers?

Bring your A game on out later today and have a little fun to lighten your week. Let Tiger's all-over-the-place style of play these last five days be an inspiration to any one of us who goes out there and thrashes around trying to get the ball to go in the direction we want it to.
