Senior League Results Event 11

The Senior League results are posted. Highlights:

Low net round of the day was posted by Allen Swayze and Pam Byron; each shot seven under in their rounds. Allen was also part of the low net team score of the day; he and Charlie Sheetz came in at 63. Second low team scores were posted by Lents and Bateman along with Hudson and Rayhill at 64. A note: super sub Morris Cornelius has been filling in superbly for Carroll Rayhill these last several weeks; Morris shot a 43 today, a nifty net 30. Albert Kavanaugh got himself two birdies and two hole prizes to go along with the low gross of the day, a 38. His playing partner Mike Anderson along with Jack Lents shot 39's. Other hole prize winners were Dave Brown on #7 and Don Lannan on #8. Other birdie finders were Dave Brown and Bob Elliott on #7, Mike Anderson on #8, and Dale DeLong and Kenny Hudson on #9. Richard Swayze had a superior outing, shooting a gross 40 and a net 30, a feat which got him back into first place in the Individual standings with 384 points. His play also helped keep the Swayze and Bird team in first place in the Team standings with 101 points. Al Kavanaugh, Jack Lents, Dale DeLong and Junior Byron round out the top five in Individual play. In Team play, Jack Lents and Jim Bateman are eleven points back while the team of Dave Strange and Clyde Wake are in third sixteen points back. Average gross for the group was 46.70, down a half a stroke from last week.
