Bits and Pieces

-Thursday League tomorrow - looking for two more subs for our open teams - one to pair with Dave Strange as he takes on Jack Lents and me; the other to go out with Wayne Pearl as the Home and Pearl team takes on Virgil Harper and Terry LaMar.

-Old news:  Young Chinese golfer wins LPGA major.  That would be Shanshan Feng, becoming the first Chinese to win on the LPGA and also gathering her first win on the preeminent tour.  She won by two at the Wegmans, topping Eun-Hee Ji, Suzanne Pettersen, Stacy Lewis and Mika Miyazato with a score of six under.  She played a brilliant final round of five under with no bogeys.

-Missed the usual Monday night game of Skins and Flags with Tracy Rayhill, Curt Johnson and Tony Trambaugh because of the 5 o'clock storm.  Maybe tonight...

-US Open tomorrow.  Looking forward to a great two days with Phil and Tiger and Bubba.  Hope they don't shoot each other in the foot - want them around on the weekend.  Chance of one of them winning it?  Fair to middling.
