Tuesday Men - Come on Down!

Egads!  Another beautiful day is upon us!  And we all get the chance to come out and shine on the golf course.  A year ago today, Mark (Short) Jeffers and Mark Potts each shot a 33 while Curt Johnson had a net 24.  Net 24?  Holy Cow!  Won't have to be named 'Mark' to shoot a 33 today; just a friendly roll of the ball off your putter every now and then.  Helps to have a good iron game to get you close to the stick as well.  And a descent drive off the tee box.

It's week 2 of the Individual Handicapped Tournament with a trio at the top of the standings at -7: Gary LaMar, Mark (another one!) Sutton and Karry Stoll.  Karry played last night and added four more strokes to his total.  The rest of us can do the same by going low today.

Terry Butcher and Rob Sterling sit on top of the team standings and are playing footsie with Mike Arvin and Scott Arthur for the top position.  Better watch out for George Templin and Don Nolan sitting in third and just 13 points from the top.

Mike Arvin is leading the individual standings, up 45 points on Rob Sterling.  Jack Divine is in third another 16 points back.  Things can change rapidly there with over 100 points available in a single event.

Course conditions remain excellent.  The little bit of rain that we got greened things up a bit, and the cooler weather helped out as well.  Fairways are still fast as are the greens.  Grab your clubs and come on down and see if you can find a birdie or two, maybe even an eagle.  A bunch of them are out there just waiting to be picked up.
