-Scramble at 9 tomorrow morning.
-Did you see that Michelle Wie actually played a good round of golf yesterday? She had a -1 round and is tied for 24th in the Manulife Financial L2PGA Classic being played in Ontario, Canada. Five birds, four bogeys, nine pars. 9/14 fairways hit. 11/18 greens in regulation. 29 putts (!). Her scorecard here. Sandra Changkija leads at -8. Wonder what has happened to Yani Tseng, the young lady who was beating anything and everything in sight in ladies golf up to a few months ago. Suddenly keeping a low profile.
-The Miami Heat and Lebron won the NBA championship. Happen to know that because I was getting help from my oldest son Marty in getting a new computer up and running late last night and he was watching the action. The new computer is for the clubhouse - the old one decided it had had enough and just refused to start earlier this week. Bother.
-Congrats, again, to Pam Byron for her win yesterday. She smoked both Tony Wease and me with a five under net round that got her to -10. Tony had a pretty good round with a gross of 38 (lowest so far this year) and a net of 32. My round of 34 (gross) and net 33 wasn't all that shabby though it did include a couple of unnecessary bogies, one a three putt, the other a 'poofy' chip, kind of like Tiger's at hole #18 last Saturday.
-We did get a little bit of rain last night around seven. Enough to register in the rain gauge, almost enough to settle the dust. But also very much appreciated. Want more, lots more.
