-Saturday Morning Scramble at 9am tomorrow.
-US Open: Tiger looking a whole bunch better than a whole lot of other top golfers who had a day not to be remembered at Olympic on Thursday. More exciting stuff today watching the best golfers in the world having fits.
-The Fees, Frank and Susan, returned to sub forty golf yesterday. Susan shot a nifty 38 while Frank came in with a 39 in the Thursday Match Play League. The other couple out there yesterday morning, Junior and Pam Byron, went at each other in their match and did fair to middling. Junior shot a 38 with a net 35 (even par) while Pam shot a 54 and a net 39. Junior and Ken Hudson bested Pam and Anna Mosby in the match and remain firmly atop the team standings. Waiting in the wings: Jack Butcher and Rex Hudson, the guys in second place and looking to put a stop to the steamrolling that is the Hudson/Byron team.
-Got Charlie Sheetz and Tony Wease to stand still for just a little bit before play yesterday. The two of them won the Team Handicapped Tournament in the Thursday League earlier this year and I needed to get their photo to hang up on the bulletin board. See I got Charlie almost smiling and Tony about ready to break out laughing (well, kinda).
