Junior Byron and Gabby Love stormed out of the gate with birdies at the first two holes, added a third at #4 and then closed with another two at eight and nine to come in with a sterling five under round 30 in the Saturday Morning Scramble at Lakeview. That was one better than the teams of Tracy Rayhill and Noah Callahan, and Kevin Johnson (playing a single ball and by himself) who finished with four under 31's. Five other teams competed for the trophy with Wayne Souerdike and George Templin firing a 33, Mike Bird and Jake Divine, Doug Denson and Kevin Byron, and Ron Wilde and Larry Hembree 34's, and Stan Hodges and Joe Allen an even par 35.
