Bits and Pieces

-Scramble tomorrow morning - 10am start.

-Lots of golfers with all the sun and the much higher temperatures yesterday (high  of 73).  The grounds even dried out significantly - will take off the cart path only restrictions today (expect for #5).

-Had three losers in my tournament picks yesterday: Louisville, Michigan State and St. John's.  Sat on top of the pile in our small group, Romper Stompers, till those last two day ending losses - MSU and SJU.  Izzo must be talentless up in Lancing this year; very unusual for him to have a team exit so early.

-Girls tee it up in Phoenix later today.  They're playing for fun, remember?  No cash distribution at the conclusion of the tournament, all going to charity.  Expect you all to do the same one of these days - go to work and donate your earnings to charity, three or four days worth.  Btw, Paul Casey is leading at the Transitions down in Florida where the purse is $5 1/2 million, all of which will be distributed to the men at the end of four days of golf.

-Forgot to mention that The Celibates (BYU) won last night.  Beat a tough Wofford team and now take on the upstart Gonzaga Zags on Saturday.

-Getting on with the day.  Out to the golf course shortly.
