When Diane and I arrived at the Jack Butcher Arena just before the end of the first quarter, all the cheering was coming from the other side. The Lions of Rock Creek had rocked the Cougars with an opening stanza burst that saw them ahead 16-4. But that was only the first quarter. By the end of two, the Cougars had clawed back to within three, and then completely dominated the second half, winning by 15. That's like a 50 to 23 turnaround over the final three quarters. Impressive.
