-Tomorrow's pairings of note in the Bigs (local times):
-KIA Classic: 12:10 pm: Ai Miyazato, Michelle Wie, Maria Hjorth
-Bay Hill: 12:56 pm: Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Gary Woodland
-In the ladies big dance, #6 Oklahoma beat #3 Miami last night and take on #2 Notre Dame this weekend (Saturday at 2pm). All four #1's (UConn, Stanford, Baylor and Tennessee) made it through the first two rounds. Go, Irish.
-The men's big dance: Go, Butler. They play Wisconsin on Thursday at 10pm.
-Lots of golfers at Lakeview yesterday including a trio of guys working on the new highway. Not our first visitors from the I69 project.
-And, in case you haven't heard, temperatures go into a tailspin after today for several days. Best get in at least nine today if you like 60's and 70's type temperatures. Back into the 40's starting tomorrow. Yuk.
-Golfing suggestion: Best be working on your short game these days. That would be from 125 yards and on in. Flush those approach shots; tighten up the distance control on those chips, and nail down your pace on those putts. (Because of this dastardly chest cold, I have been forced to restrict my playing to the short game - an energy thing.)
-Be thinking league. Start of Tuesday Men and Thursday Match coming up directly.
