-11am scramble. Looks like the storms will come in later this afternoon. Bring a sweater.
-At the KIA Classic: Jiyai Shin goes absolutely bananas, fires nine under for the day and leads the ladies' event at -12, four better than Sandra Gal, and nine better than Michelle Wie (T-8), who had a plus two on the day and gave up eleven strokes to Shin. Ouch.
-At Bay Hill: Tiger had a good day at -4, is tied for tenth and is six behind the leader, Martin Laird. Expectations are growing for him to have a good tournament. Is this the one? Is he back? We'll know more later today. Hey, we might even get to see him play some on the weekend!
-At the big dance: I'm down to two teams left in the hunt: UConn and North Carolina. The Ky-OSU game last night was a honey. Note: Three of the #1 seeds are gone. Does that make it easy pickins for the one that's left, Kansas? Hardly. Btw, Eric sent me this link to a Nate Silver NYTimes article taking issue with the NCAA seeding process. In the end, Silver suggests that the top 16, maybe 24, get seeded and that everybody else get thrown into a hat for a random draw. It's okay with me if they want to do it that way...
-Go, Butler. I'ld be more than happy with a Butler-North Carolina championship game. Wouldn't you?
-Sun is shining, temp is all the way up to 40. Almost time to head to the golf course.
